Books
These books are enduring materials and do not have an expiration date. Post-tests are only available once you have purchased a version of each book with CME credits.

 

General Information: AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits

  • Books: Each of Carlat Publishing’s reference books and treatment guides has been approved by the ACCME, APA, and ANCC to provide a designated number of credits depending on the length and complexity of each book. CME post-tests for each book are available to learners who purchase access to the book and are registered on our website. Purchase books here.

 

General Information: ABPN Self-Assessment Courses
The Carlat CME Institute offers a variety ABPN Self-Assessment Courses for maintenance of certification. Those courses are made up of these elements:

  • One of Carlat Publishing’s reference books or treatment guides

Depending on the contents of the course, learners can earn up to 8 Self-Assessment Credits and up to 24 CME credits upon completion. Some courses only include a year of newsletters without a book. Those courses offer learners 4 Self-Assessment Credits and 8 CME credits. Select and enroll in courses here. Once you purchase access, instructions for completing the course will appear in the “My Books and Courses” section of the My Account page.
