Prior to joining Connecticut Valley Hospital, he was the medical director of the Detoxification & Addiction Stabilization Service and the Psychosocial Residential Rehabilitation Program at the West Haven Veterans Administration Hospital. He completed medical school, psychiatry residency, and addiction psychiatry fellowship at Yale.
