Joshua D. Feder, MD

We aim to bring truly helpful content to our colleagues and communities. This issue focuses on substance use and gives you real tools to save lives. Speaking of saving lives, my colleague Tyler E. Morrison, MD, has good advice for people impacted by disaster & trauma: Before fires and other disasters, pack a “go bag” (www.ready.gov/kit) and download disaster apps (eg, www.watchduty.org). Evacuate early to avoid traffic. During and afterward, use psychological first aid (www.tinyurl.com/3nn7p6wn) and online resources to support families (www.tinyurl.com/yc4jws4u).
